Life is full of signs and messages that may show up randomly.
Just like the video of Matthew Hussey, an expert on relations, where he answered this question: do you think there is such a thing as the one?
He smiled and said no! the ones the person who stays by your side and the partner who we choose it.
And it was by the end of this video that she, my silly friend, knew that he was not the one and everything was a lie.
After several years, and with her mature personality now, she can finally understand what she was involved with, a manipulated who tried to control her feelings and enjoy the power that he gains when he was by her side.
I remember her eyes by then, shining like a sun in the middle of a gorgeous summer day, always smiling, doing anything to be by his side.
To be honest, he was showing her many interests, taking care of her, sending cute messages, and illuminate her days by sudden show up; the starter pack of a lover, he was, and I quote her words:
The one who will build an empire with her, excuse my silly friend.
She was in a fake dream and I could not blame her. Love is blind as they say.
She fell in his charm, his mysterious personality, and his angelic voice, I can't deny this, he had something in his voice that, in a certain way, make you want to hear more about him. He seems well educated, and always has something to share and his best character is the fact that he has a solution-oriented mind, he is an expert in giving advice, again this gives him power and makes him look like a great person in the society, she could not ask for more!
Suddenly, he leaves her with no explanations and moved to the next relation, aka the new victim. What a loss! My friend was not ready to move on. She was in shock and she could not believe that she was that fool, and he manipulated her like a doll. What is sad that they were truly in love, at least from where we stand, they seemed so close that we doubt that they broke up.
What a typical sad story, maybe but the point is this may be your story, or you feel projected in this, or let's hope that by reading this you will be aware the next time you are in a relationship where you see red flags, please don't ignore it.
